Preparations for the move are underway – Kajamed finds a new home within Zwickau

“Seeing children more flexible, giving them a more lively childhood through our tools and letting them participate in their friends’ journeys of discovery is our greatest goal.” So Jan Fiedler. “We achieve this with individually manufactured aids that are tailored to the respective needs and to the deformity of the child to be corrected.” These aids are, for example, orthoses (an aid close to the body that supports the mobility and stability of the body and corrects misalignments), medical corsets or sensorimotor shoe inserts. Together with his brother Kai Fiedler, he founded the family business Kajamed – Die Orthopädietechniker in 2014.

Another goal of the company is to support women suffering from lipoedema and lymphoedema not only with custom-fit compression supplies, but also in other areas of life. They set up the “curve wonders” community specifically for this purpose. Thanks to these specializations, Kajamed has grown significantly in recent years. Therefore, a move within Zwickau is currently being prepared – from 17 May the company is in the new premises Am Bahnhof 4 There, the available space increases from 200 square meters, which we had at the previous location in the medical center on Lothar-Streit-Strasse, to 600 square meters, as Jan Fiedler explains. rw
